Founder of MSOLORZACOACHING
I believe that our circumstances do not define our potential. With the right guidance, preparation, and determination, we all have the ability to create opportunities that can change the direction of our lives.
In 2017, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Sacramento. Shortly thereafter, I began my professional journey working in a Level IV correctional facility, where I facilitated rehabilitation programs focused on anger management, victim impact, denial management, and criminal thinking. My work centered on helping incarcerated individuals develop the skills, accountability, and personal awareness necessary to prepare for parole hearings and meaningful change.
In 2021, my journey led me into workforce development, where I supported individuals on parole, probation, and supervised release as they navigated barriers to employment and worked toward rebuilding their lives. Through this experience, I had the privilege of helping over 500 individuals secure meaningful employment, reinforcing my belief that everyone deserves an opportunity to build a better future.
Few moments have been more rewarding than hearing the words, "Marlen, I got the job!" Those moments reminded me that career development is about more than finding employment. It is about restoring confidence, recognizing potential, and creating opportunities for lasting growth.
As my experience grew, so did my passion for helping individuals from all walks of life navigate their professional journeys. What began as helping friends, family, and colleagues strengthen their resumes, prepare for interviews, and pursue new opportunities eventually evolved into something greater.
That passion became MSOLORZACOACHING.
Today, through personalized resume writing, interview preparation, and one-on-one career coaching, I am committed to helping professionals confidently communicate their value, showcase their strengths, and pursue opportunities aligned with their goals.
My mission is simple: to help you recognize your potential, build your confidence, and take the next step toward the career you deserve.
Because your background tells your story, but it does not determine how far you can go.
Your Coach,
Marlen
